About Me


Michelle Counts, LPC received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her Pastoral Counseling degree from Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and serves as a crisis response therapist for Disaster Victims Services.

Michelle enjoys working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples. Her clinical background includes in-home, residential and outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She also has extensive experience in grief counseling as well as marriage and family therapy in a private practice setting. Her diverse training and experience with international missions work and as a former youth pastor has equipped her to assist clients to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic relationship as they grow individually, relationally and spiritually. Michelle partners with the Holy Spirit and the unchanging word of God to facilitate guidance to wholeness and healing. She strongly believes in personal choice and that it is never too late to make the changes necessary to experience abundant life!
